Bluffton Regional Business Council
The Bluffton Regional Business Council (BRBC) is made up of business leaders in the Bluffton area who represent various industries and interests in the community. Its mission is to work with members, citizens, and elected officials to identify, craft and implement a pro-business agenda that advances the economic future and protects the quality of life in the region. The BRBC focus this year is on helping develop our local workforce through a local Internship Initiative. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in collaboration with the Business Education Partnership Committee and is open to all members.
Business Education Partnership
The Business Education Partnership Committee (BEP) is made up of business and education leaders who join their collective voices to discuss important, interesting, and relevant topics affecting our community. The BEP focus this year is on helping develop our local workforce through a local Internship Initiative. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 8:30 a.m. in collaboration with the Bluffton Regional Business Council and is open to all members.
Public Policy Committee
The Public Policy Committee provides a meeting place for an exchange of ideas and dialogue on matters of public policy in our community. The committee meets at 8:30 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month and is open to all members. The meetings include special speakers, as well as updates on local, county, state, and federal legislative actions. This committee helps develop the chamber’s annual legislative priorities and provides guidance on chamber positioning for issues in our business community.
Business Workforce Coalition
The Business Workforce Coalition (BWC) is a cross-industry group of business leaders who convene on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 8:30 a.m. to discuss solutions to local workforce issues. The BWC focus this year is on helping develop our local workforce through an Encore Career Initiative.
