- Hilton Christian Academy broke ground on a campus expansion with the addition of a new high school facility.
- Hugaroo Inc. has been awarded a $6,000 grant from the Belfair 1811 Charitable Foundation. This is the fifth year that Hugaroo has been a recipient of this grant.
- United Community Bank was named the #1 in Customer Satisfaction with Consumer Banking in the Southeast Region by J.D. Power.
- For the 14th consecutive year, the Hilton Head Public Service District has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association. Its Water Quality Supervisor, Sarah Hickman, was recognized with the Crystal Crucible Award by the Water Environment Association of South Carolina.
- The Town of Bluffton has awarded its first economic development grant to Solomon Property Holdings SC LLC., owned by a dentist from Michigan, who is building a 15,000 square feet health and wellness facility in the New Riverside Village development. Town Council passed its Economic Development Incentive Program in September 2023 to encourage more professional services to locate near the fastest-growing, residential areas of Bluffton.
