- WJCL’s meteorologist Victoria Kokinos' role was expanded to include evening newscasts for four weeknights each week.
- Five-time tournament champion Davis Love III has been named the 2023 RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing Tournament Chairman. He has played in the tournament a record 33 times.
- Katherine Mead was promoted to Human Resources Director at Beaufort County. She has been with the county since 2013, most recently serving as the Human Resources Deputy Director.
- Hilton Head Public Service District General Manager Pete Nardi has been named President of WateReuseSC, the South Carolina chapter of the national WateReuse Association, the nation’s only trade association solely dedicated to advancing laws, policy, funding, and public acceptance of recycled water.
- John Robinson has been named the Assistant Beaufort County Administrator of Public Safety, overseeing the Beaufort County EMS Department, Corrections Center, Animal Services, and Mosquito Control. He was previously the Deputy Fire Chief for the City of Beaufort
